This lady’s music has shaped so much of my life. She’s always been one of my go-to artists for just about every emotion in the book. She also inspired my mom’s decision on my middle name, Sade if you’re wondering, that’s how entrenched she is into my existence. This particular song reminds me of childhood. Just a happy, happy period in my life. I remember my mom singing this all the time. I also remember my aunt and uncle dancing to this in their basement as this record played in the background. Mostly, it reminds me of happiness.
